Our vintage china rentals are perfect for Weddings, Baby & Bridal Showers, Engagement Parties, Tea Parties or other special parties where you want to spice up your event or add glamour & a vintage touch.   

 

Our rental items are specially hand selected and collected.  We only carry plates we would have at our personal events.  All our silver pieces, china and chandelier candelabras are  beautiful.  Our items items are freshly cleaned, no chips, no crazing, no cracks, and no tarnish.

 

We deliver and pick up the china at your event site.  You choose whether you or the caterers will set it up.  For an additional charge, we will set the china for you, using the matches we would set for ourselves or what we think will best enhance the theme of your wedding or other event.

Delivery & Set-Up:

Elegant Event Settings offers delivery and set-up services for weddings and special events. We deliver to the Philadelphia, Chester County, Delaware County, Montgomery County, Bucks County, Lancaster, South Jersey, Delaware and surrounding areas.   We do have an event minimum based on the date and location plus delivery charges.  We limit our rentals to 1 or 2 events per day.  Book early to reserve your rentals on your special da

What type services can you provide for my Wedding/Event?

Elegant Event Settings provides vintage styling, vintage rentals, vintage mismatched china, vintage tablescapes, and just about anything you need to make your wedding complete.  With our styling package, we can tailor your  wedding to be unique and fit within your budget.  Email us a list of items you need and we will be happy to provide a quote.  

 

What is the condition of the rentals?

All of our vintange china rentals are inspected before and at the end of each event.  Our vintage china and serving pieces do not have stains, nicks, chips or cracks. Our silver flatware is freshly polished.  More than 95% of our china plates have gold, silver or platinum trim and are in wonderful condition.  We intentionally rotate our china and take the utmost care in storage to keep each piece looking it's best.  (We treat our vintage china like family---lol--we really do!)

 

Silver Serving, Tea/Coffee Sets and other silver rentals are always polished unless you specifically request the vintage tarnished look for decor purposes only.

 

Chandelier Candelabra's are in excellent condition. No wax drip and the crystals are cleaned and sparkling for each event.

 

 Most of our rentals are antique and vintage, however, we do our best to keep them in wonderful condition.  We would never send anything out that we would  not serve to our special guests at our family or special events.

 

Do you have a price list for you vintage rentals?

Yes & No.  We are working on a standard price list and package list.  At this time, we are quoting individual events to give you the best price.

 

Do you offer discounts?

Yes, we  personally quote every event and give you our best price available with set-up and delivery.

How do I Reserve Items?

Contact us.    In order to keep our prices competitive, we do not have a commercial showroom, however, we can setup a visit locally in Philadelphia or Chester County as a “styling consultation” for an additional charge.

 

What Area do you deliver rentals?

Typically Elegant Event Settings will provide rental service to clients within 60 min. driving distance from Newtown Square, PA.  (PA Counties: Chester, Delaware, Lancaster, Montgomery to Bucks County & Phila., South Jersey & North Wilmington, Delaware)

 

We do make exceptions depending on the order request and date availability.  Please always check in with us, we're happy to help AND travel, if available!  (

 

Can I pick it up my rentals?

No.  At this time we are only providing our services through our own delivery / pick up.  We do make industry exceptions on a case by case basis for event planners, photographers and the like.  Please get in touch if you have a specific request. 

 

Can you set up my bridal table/sweetheart table with matching china or special china?

Yes—Absolutely!   We do provide event styling as an added service and would be delighted to help you on your tablescape or provide special settings.

 

Are your items food + beverage ready?

​Yes—Absolutely!  Our vintage china, glassware flatware,  select serving items are food and beverage ready.   All food and beverage items are sanitized and cleaned in our commercial dishwasher/location.

 

How far in advance should we reserve our items?

All of our items are one-of-a-kind vintage pieces, so if you have your heart set on a certain piece you need to go ahead and reserve it now.

 

Do I have to put a deposit down on an item to reserve it?

Yes and this is based on your rentals.

 

How do I reserve rentals for my wedding?

If you are sure about what items you are going to rent, please email us a list of those items and we will send you an quote and information.  We require a non-refundable deposit upon reserving our pieces for your event. We also require a signed contract to be on file for all rentals.  Once the non-refundable deposit and contract are complete, your date is reserved and no one else can have that item for that date.  The balance must be paid 30 days prior to the event.  Should you have anylast minute add-ons, these are to be paid as items are requested leading up to the event.  A credit card must be kept on file for any broken or lost items.  Payments are non-refundable.

 

 

What forms of payment do you except??

We except cash, money orders, checks, Paypal & Credit Cards via PayPal.

 

How do I care for the china or return?

Our china is fragile and should not be placed in the dishwasher, microwave or heated ever.    Don't worry.  We make it vey easy and stress free.  

 

I don't want to SET UP OR CLEANUP up at my wedding, do you provide that service?

Yes, we would be happy to discuss this service so that you can sit back and enjoy your day! Email us for more information!

 

If I don't see it, can you get it for me?

Yes, most likely we can!  We source items all the time for clients.  The price will be depend on the item(s) requested and how much time we have to source it.  We do LOVE to hunt down needed items and add to our inventory!
